Rowans's BoB and the BDG

Rowan as a developer brought three great titles to the PC combat flight sim community: "Flying Corps" (WWI), Mig Alley (Korea) and the last - and probably the greatest - "Battle of Britain".

But Rowan's most important legacy, was their willingness to make their code "open source". This opened the door for a - rather small - group of people, to take up the "slack" and move on from where Rowan departed. This small group is known as the "BDG" - or the "BoB-MA Developer group". And my hat goes off to them.

Quite a while back, I had offered the BDG some web-space and band-width to help them hosting patches.

And of course, I will keep it up.

In case you experience stability issues with version 0.99, version 0.98 is kept available for down load: Patch 0.98

Both patch versions will update the original CD-install without any additional patches needed. There is a patch from Rowan available on the net, which is not needed. In fact, there are reports of problems with the Rowan patch and the ones provided by the BDG.
